If you like this car design, just wait. My current project completely
decimates the one shown.
Why do I design cars? The main reason I design cars is for have
fun. I enjoy doing this. Next, I would like to sell my car designs.
I am not looking for a simple price, but a contract with a company
that actually builds cars.
In general, I want my designs to be practical. They have to be constructible.
I don't assume advances in technology, but allow for them. They
also have to be practical for the consumer market.
Well enough about why do I design cars, and now the goals in my
car design. First performance is the most important issue. I consider
everything I can think of. I consider engine size, placement, air
passage, mechanics, efficiency, internal drag, wasted space, external
aerodynamics (drag, downward lift), and much more. Next comes style.
Performance nearly always wins over style. Often, when something
enhances performance, it automatically enhances style. Usually style
and performance do not conflict. Usually stylistic additions do
not harm performance, but as a general rule, performance beats style.
I'm aiming for a semi-futuristic design. Please do not confuse this
with the idea most people have of futuristic designs. Many ?futuristic¦
designs I've seen would make a physicist laugh. They make parachutes
look like a Ferrari. My aim is for a design what will top stylistic
and performance standards years from now.
If you're just a fan of car design and have ideas, but just can't
design cars, feel free to tell me your ideas. Also, if you want
to critique my car, please contact me. I love suggestions.
